Welcome to South Derbyshire Lib Dems

South Derbyshire Liberal Democrats was only formed as a local party in January 2021.  For many years South Derbyshire was a branch of the Derby City Lib Dems and as such wasn't always a focus for activity.

This is an exciting time - we have a new Executive team and a growing group of members and supporters who are passionate about seeing liberal values represented here in South Derbyshire.

We've already been able to demonstrate success, with two seats on the South Derbyshire District Council as a result of listening to local residents and giving people the option to vote for a party wanting to make a change.

We'd like to give everyone in South Derbyshire the opportunity to vote for a Liberal Democrat Councillor, in the next elections, the more the merrier.
